About Us

The Feed Bin has been a local Rochester staple since 1979. It is owned and operated by Diana Hardy who is celebrating her 12th year of ownership. In addition to selling livestock feed, pet food and wild bird seed; we also have toys, treat, supplements, accessories and more. We host events, classes and provide many other services.

Diana Hardy, Owner

After assuming ownership of the store in 2006, Diana devoted her time to improving the store and expanding the inventory to meet the growing needs of the community. She is passionate about the proper care and treatment of animals, including their diet.  She takes the time to research product ingredients to ensure they are healthy and safe for your pets. 


In addition to the store pets consisting of chickens and four cats - Sebastian, Willis, Ella and Carbon. Diana has a handicapped Snowshoe cross named Chloe, an adopted cat named Ember and a cockatiel named Ace. She recently lost her best friend Bailey, a handicapped German Shepherd mix, who used to accompany her to the store.

Josh Clevenger, Sales Associate

Josh began working with us in January 2019. He spends his free time with his kids: Travis, Peyton, Alex and Parker. He lives on a farm with his four dogs: Dugey, a border collie named Mazy, a shih tzu named Rocky and a chihuahua named Annie. He also raises horses, donkeys, llamas, ducks and lots of cats. He enjoys staying busy, working with his hands and engaging with customers.

Taryn Gaustad, Sales Associate

Taryn has been working with us since February 2019. She is happily married and enjoys spending time with her family. She has a passion for breeding, raising and showing goats. She is a youth mentor, educator and professional fitter. She has won several full blood (ABGA) American Boer Goat Association championships.
