To my wonderful customers and the Rochester community,

I have some important changes to share. Over the past several years, our store has experienced a steady decline in customer sales. Unfortunately, the rise of online shopping, economic downturns, and the recent opening of Tractor Supply have made it difficult for us to compete.  Additionally, retaining employees who can manage the physical demands of the store has been challenging, and it has become too labor-intensive for me to handle alone.

These factors have significantly impacted business, and I have spent considerable time exploring different options, adaptations, and creative solutions. One such solution has been following my passion for health and wellness by offering targeted light therapy services for people and pets through my new venture, Radiance Wellness Services LLC.

To balance the store's needs and continue providing these exciting new services, I must make some tough decisions.

Product Changes

I will be shifting gears at the store to focus primarily on pets, emphasizing animal health, nutrition, and holistic care alternatives. This change means that we will no longer stock livestock or horse feed and supplies. We will be liquidating these products between now and the end of the year. However, we will continue to stock poultry feed, supplies, shavings, straw, bedding pellets, and other items to be determined.  Please note that we will not have chicks in the Spring. UPS, Amazon, horse blanket services, and U-Haul will continue to operate, with some adjustments to accommodate the new store hours. 

Store Hour Changes

Starting January 2nd, store hours will be adjusted to accommodate light therapy appointments. The new store hours will be:

Tuesday to Friday: 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Saturday:  9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Donna will continue to provide grooming services as usual.

While this change may feel like a loss in some respects, I am genuinely excited to revitalize the store with fresh focus and energy. I understand that you may have questions and concerns, and I am currently in the initial discovery phase. I appreciate your patience as I navigate this transition. For those of you who rely on special orders for feeds and supplies, let's connect to discuss how we can collaborate and continue to meet your needs.
